Talos Steel manufactures and maintains a basic stock of replacement parts for certain pieces of mining equipment. These pieces of equipment are as follows:

Drill Rod Taper Grinder This machine grinds a taper on drill steel and is used in the bit shops of mines and also by those who sell the drill steel and maintain service shops for more than one machine. There is not a large volume of sales of these machines but approximately 15 units are maintained with parts and service. Currently, Talos Steel has an extensive inventory of parts, ready for resale.
Bit Sharpener This machine is used by the same customers as the drill rod taper grinder and was originally manufactured by Boart Canada. They have since discontinued manufacturing this machine and have given us the rights and drawings to make and maintain the machine for them. It is unknown how many machines have been sold, however many parts are maintained in inventory to service any needs.
Rod Straightener This machine is used in conjunction with the drill rod taper grinder and bit sharpener. This machine is used to straighten the drill steel rods prior to the other procedures.
Mixer Parts One of the other products manufactured and inventoried for sale is a mixer used in the mining industry. Typically, 6 complete units are held in inventory.
