Health & Safety Policy
At Talos Steel, our objective is to reduce lost-time injuries for all employees, in all areas under our control. Human error does occur,
however, our objective is to educate, inform, and train all employees to be aware of safe operating practices at all times.
This program has been developed to provide a working environment for all our employees. The program is based on the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial establishments, however may not always apply on all construction sites. (ie. All companies comply with legislated requirements; however their procedures to achieve compliance may vary). In order to ensure we comply with these procedures, they must be established at the onset of a project with the company. In turn, these variations of procedures will be communicated to all our employees before beginning work.
Management will be responsible for the development and implementation of safe working procedures based on the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations for manufacturing and other applicable legislation.
Supervision shall ensure that these procedures are communicated to the workers and followed.
Workers shall follow these procedures as they apply in there daily tasks.
By working together to eliminate accidents we can achieve and maintain a Safe Working Environment.
